In a testament to her prowess, Kutchi actor Komal Thakkar walked the red carpet at the latest Cannes Film Festival wearing a dress designed by her, further solidifying Niketa’s position as a trailblazing designer, and shining a global spotlight on Kutch’s rich artistry.

She has curated 100+ exhibitions in India and overseas to promote local artisans.

Niketa is the recipient of prestigious awards including the Kutch Shakti Award (Nari Ratna), the Celebrity Designer Award presented by then Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at Zee Mahasanmaan 2019, and the Best Designer Award at the Aulva Fashion Show in Mumbai, among others.
